My Name Is Scot and I’m interested in notions of agency, identity and authenticity. My work includes installations, video, book works, site specific interventions, drawing, photography and performance and has been seen in exhibitions, screenings and performances in Canada, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America and the U.     Hello Scot, my name is Robert Alen Richter. You might remember me as a would-be painter at Carr with whom you were somewhat befriended, who worked at Manhattan Books and eventually left for Berlin in 1997. Have been here ever since. I remember you as someone who was inordinately kind to me, especially at the end of that bizarre time, actually more or less the only one. That’s why I was glad to find this way of saying hello, if it works. I’m putting my address below.
