The Law of the Jungle

Some documentation of one of my projects created in situ @ the Orbitas Residency http://orbitas.info this past month in Costa Rica. Using only found materials, in this case coconut fronds and fruit, lianas, twigs and hand carved wooden dowels, I fabricated a faux surveillance camera and installed it on the edge of the jungle. The jungle has many eyes. It’s part of an ongoing series of counterfeit devices that I’ve been building which mimic the infrastructure of scrutiny and pose questions about seeing, believing, being observed and becoming your own observer.
